1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you register for Sellivaro, we collect your name, email address, password, company name, and contact information. This information is necessary to create and manage your merchant account.
Store Configuration Data: We store information about your store setup, including product catalogs, pricing, inventory levels, shipping settings, tax configuration, and store design preferences.
Transaction & Order Data: To process orders and payments, we collect customer order information, shipping addresses, payment details (processed securely through third-party payment providers), and transaction history.
Customer Data: Your store's customers provide information during checkout, including names, addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers. You remain the data controller for this information.
Usage Analytics: We automatically collect non-personally identifiable information about how you use Sellivaro, including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, time spent, and features used. This helps us improve our service.
Communication Data: When you contact our support team, we retain emails, chat logs, and support tickets for quality assurance and dispute resolution.
2. How We Use Information
Providing Services: We use your information to operate your storefront, process orders, manage inventory, and deliver the features you've configured.
Communication: We may send you service updates, billing information, security alerts, and feature announcements. You can opt out of non-essential communications in your account settings.
Support & Troubleshooting: We use account and usage data to provide customer support, debug technical issues, and prevent fraud or abuse.
Analytics & Improvements: We analyze aggregated usage patterns to improve Sellivaro's features, performance, and user experience. This analysis never identifies individual merchants.
Legal Compliance: We may process information to comply with laws, respond to legal requests, enforce our terms, and protect our legal rights.
Billing & Payments: We use payment and billing information to invoice you, process refunds, and detect payment fraud.
3. Data Sharing & Processing
Third-Party Service Providers: We share data with vendors who help us deliver Sellivaro, including payment processors, email providers, cloud infrastructure providers, analytics services, and customer support platforms. All third parties are contractually obligated to protect your data.
Payment Processors: Stripe and other payment service providers process payment information according to their own privacy policies. We do not store full credit card details.
Your Customers: You control what customer data is visible in your store and account. We follow your configuration as the data controller.
Public Information: Information you include in your public storefront (product descriptions, store branding, etc.) may be indexed by search engines and accessible online.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our platform or users.
We Do Not Sell Data: Sellivaro never sells merchant or customer data to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit
- Encrypted data at rest in our secure infrastructure
- Regular security audits and penetration testing
- Access controls and authentication requirements
- Automatic backups with encryption
- Monitoring and intrusion detection systems
However, no security system is completely immune to attacks. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we maintain reasonable security practices.
5. Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account termination, we retain data as necessary for legal compliance (typically 7 years for tax and financial records). You can request data deletion, except where we're legally required to retain records.
If you delete your account, your storefront will be taken offline and associated customer data will be marked for deletion within 30 days, unless we're required by law to retain it longer.
